Besides a GORC membership, the best way you can get involved to is to attend a few of our trail building and social events held throughout the year.
Become a Member
The $20.00 that you contribute as your membership dues each year is almost entirely used on active and ongoing projects. If you consider what you spend on bike parts each year then you probably realize that our membership dues are peanuts for what we offer in return – a better network of trails and increased riding opportunities. While we currently do not offer the Lifetime Membership level you can view our honor roll of Lifetime GORC Members.
Our stature and validity is anchored in our membership base. The more dues-paying members we have – along with all of our official volunteer hours – ensure that we are taken seriously by land agencies, governmental agencies and are held in high regard by grant-issuing organizations. Quite simply, your membership in our club is a boost to our numbers and volume metrics that agencies use to gauge our support, cause and validity.
Volunteer
GORC is an all-volunteer organization, which means we don’t just want your support — we need it. Everyone gives back in their own way. Some people have time, some have money, some folks know how to give dynamic presentations to land managers. Whether you’ve been riding for twenty years or just started mountain biking last week, we can use your assistance. Some of the ways you can help out might just surprise you. GORC also has a running list of items that we could use.
Donate
As a non-profit organization, we rely on contributions from our community to feed hungry volunteers, provide new trail tools, and keep the club operating in the black. Your monetary donation is 100% tax-deductible since we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Other forms of donation include physical products, such as volunteer giveaways, tool purchases and equipment rentals.
