On January 9th, GORC will hosts its first meeting of the new year at the Schlafly Bottleworks. We will be meeting Thursday at 7pm in the Crown Room that overlooks the production warehouse.

Every year GORC celebrates its hard-working volunteers, whether they are a member or not, with a king-sized party. Come out and see all your GORC friends. The annual Appreciation Party recognizes all of our volunteers that have come out to our trail building days throughout the year.

Good news! The inaugural Mississippi Valley Bike Expo and Swap Meet was a success. Each of the three co-sponsors including BicycleWorks, Missouri Bicycle Federation and Gateway Off-Road Cyclists split the modest profit to help their respective ongoing advocacy efforts.

The GORC monthly meeting will be moving the Schlafly Bottleworks in 2014! This ends our 10 year run at the Tap Room in Midtown but Schlafly is reclaiming their meeting room but also moving us out to Maplewood to ease our transition.

We would like to invite you to be a part of the 2013 Mississippi Valley Bicycle Expo & Swap Meet. This year’s event is being held September 15, 2013 on the St. Louis University Campus, located in Midtown St. Louis, Missouri.

Our fall 2013 trail building schedule has been announced. We return to many of your favorite parks to continue where we left while a few other locations need some much maintenance TLC.

GORC has been reaching out to area shops to establish a perk program for current paid GORC members. We’re proud to have Granada Cyclery, Etrailer, Maplewood Bicycles and Mesa Cycles.
