Location: Gravel parking lot off Matson Hill Road

Build Plans: We will be re-routing the Matson Hill loop where the shallow spring flows down the rock shelf for weeks after a rain.

COVID-19 & Trailbuilding: As most trail crews are small, working outside of normal exposure to the public, trail building is an inherently “socially isolated” activity. GORC believes that utilizing best practices in maintaining a hygienic and safe work site can minimize the potential of exposure to COVID-19 for volunteers and the general public.  We will require all volunteers to maintain a physical distance of 6' while working.  If that is not possible, a mask will be required.  If you feel sick or have been exposed to someone who has recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, please stay home.  We will look forward to seeing you at a future trail build.

Where: We are meeting at the gravel lot off of Matson Hill Road.  Coordinates: 38.623676, -90.814995

Weather: The decision to cancel will be made by SCCP's and posted on the Trail Hotline (636-707-0011, click the programs prompt), so if there is any doubt, please check there before heading out.  We will do our best to update the forum/Twitter, but that will rely upon available cell coverage.  

GORC/SCCP's will provide on site instruction, tools, gloves, safety glasses, and a post event lunch*.
