Build - Cliff Cave - Trail Building Day 10-22-22

Registration is closed for this event

Date: Saturday, October 22, 2022 - 9am - 1pm

Location: Cliff Cave Park

Build Plans:  We will be addressing some drainage and erosion issues on the Spring Valley Trail. As part of water management, we may be incorporating some rollers and small berms. The Spring Valley is a fun cross country trail that we are looking to continue to improve.

COVID-19 & Trailbuilding: As most trail crews are small, working outside of normal exposure to the public, trail building is an inherently “socially isolated” activity. GORC believes that utilizing best practices in maintaining a hygienic and safe work site can minimize the potential of exposure to COVID-19 for volunteers and the general public. If you feel sick, please stay home.  We will look forward to seeing you at a future trail build.

Directions: Meet at Oakville Middle School 5950 Telegraph Rd. 63129. We will be meeting behind the school

What to bring: Gloves, Sturdy shoes, eye protection, and something to drink on the trail.

Lunch will be provided.

If you haven't been to Cliff Cave recently or have yet to explore the trails, this may be a great opportunity to experience all that the trail system has to offer.

Weather and trail conditions providing, bring your bike for a post build ride.
