Event - Fundraiser For Proposed Eureka Skills Park

Here's a great event being held by Mountain Bike Shed!

Melvin Brewing is coming to Eureka in 2019 and so Let’s celebrate Melvin’s multi-award winning and flagship brew the 2x4 with a party hosted by Mountain Bike Shed! A $10 donation will get you in to the Shed where free Melvin Beer (including a few new brews not sampled yet in StL) and good vibes will be handed out. The Melvin Bus will be parked out front next to a fire pit to keep you warm until you make it back into the Shed.

We will be raising money to fund the first MTB Skills Park in the greater StL area. The park will be in the heart of Eureka at the Timbers off the Flat Creek Trail that runs through Route 66 and will eventually connect to the Al Foster Trail. The City of Eureka has supported the project by guaranteeing the matching funds needed to receive our grant by IMBA to design out an awesome skills park where riders from across the area can progress their skills with rollers, table tops, and progressive drops/jumps. The park will be geared for all ages/levels of riders to help give them the skills to enjoy the trails safely!!! This park will serve as a launching pad for more trails of its kind across the area. Come out and show Eureka that they made the right choice backing local mountain bikers!!!!

A special thank you goes out to Missy Myers from the Eureka Parks Department and Alderman Wes Sir for spearheading the project. The support of Mayor Coffee, the entire Board of Alderman, and the City of Eureka has been amazing as well.
