Build - Greensfelder - Trail Building Day #2

Date: October 22, 2016 - 9am - 1pm

Location: Greensfelder County Park

What: We will be building new singletrack where we stopped at the last trail build. This next section begins with 1500+ feet of pure dirt work (rogue hoe!!) followed by a drop in to some rocky awesomeness. Gravelly rocks, big rocks, jump rocks, flow rocks, we got some rocks to work with and the main reason the trail heads onto this ridge side.

The singletrack will eventually bring you out to the Scenic Overlook. It would be really great to get to the Scenic Overlook if at all possible. See the map below. This can only happen if we get 80+ volunteers and several of our rock star trail builders.

Where: Greensfelder Park, Allenton Rd. behind Six Flags. NOTE: Park at the Beulah Shelter located about a half mile down Scenic Loop Road - the road inside the park. Lunch will be provided at Beulah Shelter.

What to bring: Gloves, Sturdy shoes, eye protection, and something to drink on the trail.

Lunch will be provided by St. Louis County. If you would like a vegetarian sandwich, please let us know on our forum under the "Trail Building and Maintenance Announcments" - We usually have a topic for the trail build listed.
