Moonlight Ride at Indian Camp Creek

This year marks the 9th year that St. Charles County Parks will be hosting their Moonlight Bike Ride Program, with a little assistance from GORC and SLAMB. The rides are taking place within a day or so of a full moon and GORC or SLAMB (or both) will have guides available. This is the only way to ride some of your favorite trails after dusk! All riders must sign a waiver and sign in/out at the trailhead. Everyone is welcome - all skill levels.  Helmet and light required.  Riders may ride on their own or ride with the SLAMB/GORC guide.

This moonlight event is being hosted by SLAMB.

Location

Indian Camp Creek Park: Meet in the first parking lot after crossing the bridge.

Required Items

You, your bike, a light, and a helmet. (Helmets and lights are mandatory to participate in the Moonlight Rides.) Please sign in and out. We use the sign in sheet for a head count so we don't leave anyone stranded in the dark. Thanks.

In Case of Bad Weather

In the event of bad weather contact the St. Charles County Parks Program Hotline at 636-949-7475 (option #2, Programs). This will be the Official source of information in cases of bad weather or iffy trail conditions. THIS MAY CONFLICT WITH THE HOTLINE INFORMATION FOR A SPECIFIC TRAIL. Note that the hotline's specific "trail closure" status may not be consistent with the "Programs" status since trails may dry out by the p.m. ride time. This info is also posted on St. Charles County Parks' website, www.stccparks.org or by calling the Parks Department at (636) 949-7535.
