Build - Figure 8 Jumps at Grant's Trail - Trail Building Day

Date: June 10, 2017 - 9am - 1pm

Location: Figure 8 at Grant's Trail, Hwy 55 and Union Rd.

What: Jumpin' Fixin'

Where: Grant's Trail - Hoffmeister Trailhead.  Maintaining jumps, etc. We will be parking at the Grant's Trail parking lot near Orlando Gardens.

Why:  Normal details like 9am to 1pm, come prepared to dig, trim, shape, and clean up.  Bring your bike to shred some jumps afterward.

Our plan is to perform some general maintenance (Trimming back foliage, etc..), Expand and enhance the pump-track at the entrance to better suit kids and all riders, and perform some maintenance on the Jump-Pack (smoothing jump faces, lengthening some of the table-tops, etc...)

This is a great opportunity to come out and get to know this cool spot if you've never been there.  It's also a great way to meet other local riders interested in the dirt jump scene, and it shows we have support in St. Louis for MORE progressive trails and trail features.

GORC will provide on site instruction, tools, gloves, safety glasses, and a post event lunch*.

*Please contact us if you have any specific food requirements (veggie or food allergy), and we'll do our best to assist you.

Lunch will be provided by GORC. If you would like a vegetarian sandwich, please let us know on our forum under the "Trail Building and Maintenance Announcments" - We usually have a topic for the trail build listed.

There may be a group ride afterwards - weather permitting, so bring your bike if you like.
