| I was out there last night and with a large turnout we could complete a large section of the Declue Extension. Come on out if you can spare the time! |

I want to thank everyone that came out today to Greensfelder. Especially the crew leaders, Matt, Ron and Glenn. We had several groups there today including SLAG and Wabash University. They worked their tails off and completed the primary leg of the Declue Extension.
We were also able to complete a section of trail below the cell towers that will connect the two switchbacks. We are very close to having this section of trail complete. If you know where it is, go check it out. It's a great ride and it should get as many tires on it as possible before this winter. I'll try and post up a map showing the details.
The only disappointment today was the very few GORC members present. Was there free beer somewhere that I didn't know about?
Greensfelder is primo right now as it has been for the last couple months. It's the place to be! |

| First time riding the Niner 29er on Greensfelder. I was able to ride over and thru things I could not do on my 26er. It has been a few years since I rode parts of the trail but it was fun today after building more trail. I was riding this trail in 1985 era and the changes have been amazing. I helped build part of the DeClue back in the late 90's and to see how it has changed. GORC's efforts to make the trails sustainable has really made a difference. If you haven't riden Greensfelder in a while give up on Castlewood and drive just a few more miles and enjoy Greensfelder. |
