Saturday, September 26th we're having a workday at ICCP, and everyone's invited. You don't have to be a mountain biker - the trails are also open to hikers, equestrians, and trails runners - and we'll supply the tools, lunch, and trail building instruction.
Please bring something to drink during the workday, wear sturdy shoes (boots preferred), and bring your gear if you want to use the trails afterwards (assuming they're dry).
Who: GORC people, friends, and trail users
What & Where: Workday @ Indian Camp Creek Park. It's approx 7 miles North of I-70 on 40/61. (Turn left on Dietrich Rd roughly .6 miles after passing W.) We'll be meeting at Shelter #6, NOT the trailhead parking lot.
When: Saturday (9/26/09) 9:00 til 1:00, with lunch provided by St. Charles County Parks. Please RSVP to the SCCP's office (636-949-7535), through the WebTrac registration system on the parks website, or post here so we can plan how much food to bring.
Why: To give yourself more trails to ride, and experience what it's like to build some sweet singletrack. We're close to finishing the 4 fingered connector that runs on top of the ridgeline, and can use all the help we can get.
If you have any questions, please post them here. Thanks. |

| Thanks to all who braved the weather to work on the trails. We worked for several hours before the rain and lightening ended our day. We'll try again on October 31. With a big Halloween turnout, we could finish the new ridge loop! |
