I rode the Declue trail Sunday afternoon. The trail was mostly in great shape. I finally rode the new section. I did loose the trail in one spot. I backtracked after coming back down from the radio tower to find where I should have gone. Some of this trail was still wet and with a lot of post holes. There was a tree across the trail about a 1/3 of the way back up the hill after the rock garden when going clockwise. It definitely is a walk around. The best part, NO TICS

Man, we went out that same day and got murded with ticks. We must have taken them all for you. My feet and ankles were covered(and itch like hell now). I think it was walking around that tree that did it.

That tree has been there a while too. It's the leafy section of the tree covering a good 20' of trail. There is already a fairly established ride-around that just cuts off a very short section of trail. That's what I used, but I'd like to not have to ride that!

Save a trail - ride a bike.

I certainly appreciate you taking one for the team. Maybe it was just that I was sweating so bad that I washed them off.
